Manufacturing Process
Lab Created Ruby is produced using two advanced crystal-growing methods.
First, the Flame Fusion Process combines high-purity aluminum oxide with chromium at extremely high temperatures. This method produces vibrant ruby crystals with excellent clarity and color. However, because the crystals grow quickly, they may contain tiny gas bubbles.
Next, the Flux Growth Process allows ruby crystals to grow slowly in a molten chemical solution called flux. As a result, the crystals develop natural-looking growth patterns that closely resemble those of natural ruby.
